The Warriors (7) have a chance to take a 3-1 stranglehold of their first-round matchup vs. the Rockets (2) on Monday night.
Golden State is coming off a huge 104-93 win in Game 3 without Jimmy Butler. At home for Game 4, with Butler questionable (left pelvic contusion) tonight, the Warriors are favored this evening.

Houston grabbed 15 offensive boards on Saturday night, but it allowed Golden State to shoot nearly 49 percent from the floor in the second half.
Stephen Curry, who was held to 20 points on 6-for-15 shooting in a 109-94 loss in Game 2, had 21 points and seven assists in just the second half of Game 3, as he finished with 36 points and nine dimes.
After the fourth quarter of Saturday night’s matchup was all Warriors — Golden State scored 35 points on 12-of-21 shooting (57 percent), with assists on 10 of its 12 buckets in the final period — the Rockets need a massive bounceback in Game 4.

Rockets vs. Warriors Game 4 Player Props
Jimmy Butler Over 19.5 Points (-108 at FD) — 1 unit
Butler has now had five days to recover from the hard fall that sidelined him for the final three quarters of Game 2 and all of Game 3.
Given his playoff track record and how well he has played in a substantial role over the last few weeks, a massive night by Butler tonight feels like a strong possibility (assuming, of course, that he’s able to play substantial minutes).
Remember, he finished Game 1 of this series with 25 points, which gave him five straight games with at least 24.
Expect Golden State to let Butler run the offense at times after Curry logged nearly 41 minutes and a usage rate of over 31 percent in Game 3.
We’ve seen enough examples in recent weeks of how effective Golden State is when running its offense through Butler that we like him to reach 20 points. It’s also worth mentioning that he’s scored 20 or more in 65 of 118 career playoff starts.
Rockets vs. Warriors Game 4 Pick, Best Bets
Golden State got a ton of great looks throughout the second half of Game 3, and this offense should continue to thrive tonight, even if Butler is a bit less than 100 percent.
On the other end of the court, Houston has struggled to generate good looks in two of three games to date, and Draymond Green and the Warriors defended Alperen Sengun much better in Game 3 — when they held him to 15 points and 4 assists on 7-for-18 FG shooting — than they did in Games 1 and 2.
If Golden State can once again limit Sengun, the Rockets could find themselves way too dependent on second-chance and fast-break points to keep up with the Warriors at Chase Center.
Expect the Rockets to start this game strong, but I like the Warriors to cover with little difficulty, especially if we see the return of Playoff Jimmy.
Rockets vs. Warriors Game 4 Best Bets:
- Warriors -4.5 (-108 at FanDuel) — 1 unit
- Rockets Team Total Under 99.5 (-110 at DraftKings) — 1 unit
