Willow Nightingale, a very popular All Elite Wrestling star for the past three years, has confirmed she is staying with the company for the long haul. She recently put pen to paper on a new multi-year contract, a decision made even before she would have entered free agency.
This welcome news for AEW fans was first reported by Fightful Select earlier in May 2025. Nightingale herself officially confirmed the signing during an insightful interview with The Takedown on SI on Tuesday afternoon, May 20th.
She shared her happiness about her decision to remain a part of the AEW roster. “That is true, yes. I am happy where I am,” Nightingale stated.
She also firmly believes she has many more significant goals to achieve within the promotion. “I think there is so much left ahead for me to do at AEW, things that I want to accomplish.”
The 31-year-old wrestler is also very excited about being an active participant in AEW as it continues to develop and solidify its place in the wrestling world. “But also, I’m just really excited to be a part of something when it’s fresh and new and, like, you know, I think we’re past the years of finding our footing,” she told The Takedown.

For Nightingale, being involved in AEW’s ongoing journey from its earlier days is a special honor. “But to have been a part of that and continue to water and watch it grow is just a privilege as well as a joy, you know? So I’m excited to continue, to take part in that.”
One of the aspects of working for AEW that Nightingale appreciates most is the opportunity to wrestle internationally. She praised the company’s strong relationships with promotions around the globe.
“I think one of the most amazing things about All Elite Wrestling is that we have great international partners,” Nightingale said. “And I can be someone who’s featured on television regularly week in, week out, and I can still take a weekend off and hop on an international flight to Tokyo or Mexico City.”
These international trips offer valuable chances for her to learn and improve as a performer. “And I know that we’ve got partners over there who are going to take care of me. I’m going to have a fun, hard-hitting match, where I get to learn more about my craft, take away another style, in a professional setting.”

Beyond just improving her wrestling skills, these travels provide her with important life experiences and perspective. “But also just like on an interpersonal level, meet other people who view the world differently than me and remind myself that, even though sometimes in wrestling we put on our superhero capes and we feel larger than life…” Nightingale continued, reflecting on the human element.
Since initially signing her first All Elite Wrestling contract in 2022, she has certainly made a big mark. Nightingale has been a featured talent on both AEW television programming and for Ring of Honor (ROH).
