The NFL officially released its schedule at 8 p.m. EST, with coverage on NFL Network. The matchups appear extra spicy this year, with plenty of top teams facing each other at key points in the season.
Some matchups will be extra exciting for NFL fans because of the revenge factor. Here are some of the top ones to look forward to.
1. Kansas City Chiefs vs. Philadelphia Eagles
The Kansas City Chiefs will have an immediate chance to get revenge on the Eagles when they host them in Kansas City in Week 2.
After a brutal beatdown in the Super Bowl, the Chiefs will be looking to show why they are a championship contender every year and are much more than the team they were in last year’s Super Bowl.
2. Baltimore Ravens vs. Buffalo Bills
The Ravens have been looking for revenge over the Bills ever since Mark Andrews dropped their two-point conversion attempt to prevent a chance to take out the Chiefs in the AFC Championship.
They will get their chance for revenge immediately in Week 1 on Sunday Night Football. Another storyline for the game is Lamar Jackson getting revenge on Josh Allen for winning MVP last year. The race came down to the wire, but Allen slightly edged out Jackson for the award.
This could turn out to be one of the best games of the season in Week 1, just as the Ravens against the Chiefs was one of the best games of the season last year in Week 1.

3. New York Jets vs. Pittsburgh Steelers
While it is uncertain where Aaron Rodgers will play at the moment, the NFL set up a potential sweet matchup in Week 1 with the New York Jets facing the Pittsburgh Steelers in New York.
Rodgers seems most likely to play for the Steelers at this point in the offseason, but that could easily change. If he does join the Steelers, it will be a fascinating game, especially with it being in New York.
There could be a huge negative reaction towards Rodgers from Jets fans, and Rodgers could also be extra motivated to play well after a tumultuous offseason.
It will also be a revenge game for quarterback Justin Fields, who signed with the Jets in free agency after being replaced as a starter by Russell Wilson last season.
4. Cooper Kupp facing the Los Angeles Rams (x2)
Cooper Kupp was a huge part of the Rams winning a Super Bowl back in 2022, winning Super Bowl MVP.
The Rams decided to move on from him and replace him with Davante Adams, which led Kupp to join the Seattle Seahawks. Given that the two teams are division rivals, the two teams will face off twice during the regular season.
The first matchup between the two will be Week 11 in Los Angeles in the 1 p.m. EST time frame. The two teams will then face off again in Seattle in Week 16.
It will be interesting to see how big of a storyline Kupp’s return to LA will be, given the storied career he had with the franchise, but unfortunately, the sour end he had to his LA career as well.
